We are calling on members of the foreign direct investment (FDI) community to share your expertise and enthusiasm and propose qualified speakers, judges, and topics for open attendee plenary sessions and programming for economic development organizations, international companies, and technology startups. All selected speakers will receive an official invitation and confirmation from SelectUSA in early 2025!

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is hosting Deploy24, its 2nd annual Demonstrate, Deploy, Decarbonize convening to bring together industry executives, investors, community leaders, and other public and private sector decision-makers from across the clean energy supply chain to accelerate the deployment of critical energy and decarbonization technologies in the United States.

Under Secretary Lago Travel
In China, Under Secretary Lago co-led the second U.S.-China Commercial Issues Working Group Vice-Ministerial, where she advocated for a level playing field for U.S. businesses in China and discussed commercial issues raised by the U.S. business community. 
In Mongolia, Under Secretary Lago met with senior Mongolian government officials to strengthen U.S.-Mongolia commercial relations in sectors including mining, transportation, and technology.
