First Reading on September 10th
————————————————————
The James Joyce Centre is proud to sponsor a Ulysses reading group led by the James Joyce Institute of Ireland. Starting on Tuesday, 10 September 2024, the James Joyce Institute of Ireland will commence the reading of Ulysses on a weekly basis on Tuesdays from 7.30 to 9pm via Zoom.
While the emphasis will be on reading and enjoying the text, our deliberations will be enriched by the regular attendance of a number of well-known Joyceans. These include Vivien Igoe (author of The Real People of Joyce’s Ulysses), Robert Nicholson (author of The Ulysses Guide: Tours through Joyce’s Dublin) and Terence Killeen, author of what has become the standard and most widely-used guide to Joyce’s masterpiece, Ulysses Unbound: A Reader’s Companion to Joyce’s Ulysses.
We hope to see you there!
The James Joyce Centre makes great effort to keep our events free and open to the public. We rely upon public and private donations in order to do so. We would greatly appreciate it if you would consider making a donation.
