Media Note
August 30, 2024
Assistant Secretary for the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) Todd D. Robinson will travel to Canberra, Australia, from September 3-4 where he will meet with Australian officials to discuss INL programming and coordination of U.S. and Australia approaches to shared challenges, including in the Pacific region.
From September 5-6, Assistant Secretary Robinson will travel to Nuku’alofa, Tonga, to launch the inaugural U.S.-Pacific Islands Chiefs of Police (PICP) Dialogue and consult with key law enforcement partners to reaffirm our commitment to the Pacific. His trip comes one week after the 53rd Pacific Islands Forum Leaders Meeting in Tonga, where Deputy Secretary Kurt Campbell highlighted how the United States is following through on the U.S.-Pacific Islands Partnership.
