Enilive Iberia expands service station network in Spain
The closing for the acquisition of Atenoil has been completed
Madrid, 3 June 2024 – Enilive Iberia, Enilive’s subsidiary in the Iberian Peninsula, announces the closing of the acquisition of 100% of the shares of Atenoil, a company operating in the service station sector.
The transaction, which has been approved by the relevant authorities, comprises 21 service stations in the regions of Madrid, Andalusia and Castilla-La Mancha. The new stations will become part of Enilive Iberia’s network, which will have a total of 38 stations in Spain after the transaction. With this acquisition, Enilive Iberia has strengthened its market position in the area and has extended its presence into new provinces.
In line with Enilive’s sustainable mobility development strategy, the expanded service station network will meet the needs of people on the move. In particular, the traditional offer of fuels and lubricants will be complemented by new biofuels derived from 100% renewable raw materials* such as HVOlution, HVO diesel – of which Eni is the second largest European producer – and fast and ultra-fast electric charging with Plenitude, an Eni subsidiary. The Enilive Iberia network will also offer customers access to other services related to mobility: catering, convenience stores and the professional fuel card: Multicard Routex. Regarding its catering offering, Enilive Iberia has launched the first Eni Cafés, a catering format that has more than 1200 retails in Europe.

The acquisition of Atenoil supports key elements of Eni’s strategic plan 2024-2027, which includes the expansion of the Enilive service station network with more than 300 premium stations in strategic locations in Italy and abroad.

Enilive Iberia amplia la rete di stazioni di servizio in Spagna
Completato il closing per l’acquisizione di Atenoil
Milano, 3 giugno 2024 – Enilive Iberia, filiale di Enilive nella penisola iberica, annuncia il closing dell’acquisizione del 100% delle azioni di Atenoil, società che opera nel settore delle stazioni di servizio.
L’operazione, che ha ottenuto l’autorizzazione delle autorità competenti, riguarda 21 punti vendita nelle regioni di Madrid, Andalusia e Castiglia-La Mancia. Le nuove stazioni di servizio entreranno a far parte della rete Enilive Iberia che, al termine dell’operazione, conterà in totale 38 punti vendita. Con questa acquisizione Enilive Iberia migliora la sua competitività sul territorio e allarga la presenza anche a province in cui finora non era presente.
In linea con la strategia di sviluppo della mobilità sostenibile di Enilive, la nuova rete delle stazioni di servizio supporterà le esigenze delle persone in movimento. In particolare, la tradizionale offerta di carburanti e lubrificanti sarà affiancata dai nuovi biocarburanti da materie prime al 100% rinnovabili* come HVOlution, l’HVO diesel di cui Eni è il secondo produttore europeo e dalla ricarica elettrica veloce e ultraveloce di Plenitude, Società controllata da Eni. Inoltre, la rete Enilive Iberia consentirà ai clienti di accedere ad altri servizi legati alla mobilità: ristorazione, minimarket e alla carta carburante professionale Multicard Routex. Nel campo della ristorazione, Enilive Iberia ha aperto i primi Eni Café, un format che conta più di 1200 punti vendita in Europa.
Davide Calabrò, presidente e amministratore delegato di Enilive Iberia, ha dichiarato: “Con questa acquisizione, che arriva tre anni dopo il nostro ritorno nel retail in Spagna, Enilive Iberia conferma gli obiettivi di sviluppo e diventa un attore importante nella transizione energetica della penisola iberica”.
L’acquisizione di Atenoil conferma il piano strategico Eni 2024-2027, che prevede l’espansione della rete di stazioni di servizio Enilive di oltre 300 punti vendita premium in aree strategiche in Italia e all’estero.
