Pothole Eradication Programme official launch and certification ceremony

The Central University of Technology, Free State (CUT) in partnership with the Free State Department of Community Safety, Roads, and Transport will officially launch and hand-over certification for the Pothole Eradication Programme, which is aimed at eradicating potholes through the training and skilling of 650 youth in the Free State.
This innovative project focuses on empowerment, skills-building, and creating jobs for unskilled women and youth, while also repairing roads and addressing infrastructure challenges through providing learners with CETA-accredited training and conducting ongoing research to ensure that the solutions implemented for long-term road maintenance are sustainable.
