SelectUSA Executive Director Singh, Deputy Under Secretary Farrell, and Assistant Secretary Venkataraman represented the International Trade Administration (ITA) at the SIDO 2024 Washington Leadership Program! While there, they led discussions highlighting ITA and SelectUSA’s work and partnerships with state governments to promote U.S. exports and job-creating foreign direct investment.

The Select Global Women in Tech (SGWIT) Mentorship Network [ https://www.selectusasummit.us/Programming/Select-Global-Women-in-Tech ] is seeking experienced mentors from the U.S. startup ecosystem for its 2024 cohort. *Mentorship applications are open until?Friday, May 17, 2024, at 11:59 PM ET*.    
SGWIT is a year-long program that introduces international women founders, entrepreneurs, and executives in the tech sector to the U.S. market with the support of SelectUSA’s traditional data and counseling services as well as community, learning, and networking opportunities.  
*Who should mentor? *Successful, U.S.-based entrepreneurs, corporate executives, venture capitalists, angel investors, and attorneys interested in supporting international women entrepreneurs in tech in their efforts to achieve their U.S. expansion goals.?  
*Mentors*?will be selected from across the?*U.S. startup ecosystem*?based on their?*interest*?in supporting women-run businesses and their?*expertise*?in supporting tech startups on their U.S. investment and expansion journeys. Prospective mentors will be evaluated based on their: industry knowledge, areas of specialty, international expansion skills/experience, entrepreneurship skills/experience, and women’s empowerment experience/interest.
