This week, the incredible work of those working in education will be celebrated as the Gold Winners of the National Teaching Awards are announced. This Teacher Bulletin is dedicated to giving our thanks and celebrating educators up and down the country.
Regardless of whether you’ve been nominated or won an award for your teaching, you are all committed to realising the potential of children and young people, and we want to say a genuine thank you for all your hard work.

The National Teaching Awards are an opportunity for your whole school community to celebrate the work of your colleagues and let your staff shine. We sponsor 5 of the 16 categories, celebrating incredible educators right through their career, and across education settings from early years to further education.

This week, The One Show is getting the whole country involved in celebrating all those working in education as they announce the Gold Teaching Award winners. Tune in to BBC1 every weeknight this week, at 7pm, to join the celebration, hear some inspirational stories and find out who will be taking home a Gold Teaching Award.

The honours system celebrates people who go above and beyond. Anyone can nominate or receive an award, whether they’re a teacher, further education lecturer, member of nursery staff or meal-time assistant.
