Special Presidential Envoy for Climate John Kerry will travel to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and to Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, between October 27 and November 1 to advance U.S. objectives on climate and clean energy prior to the 28th UN Climate Change Conference (COP28), which will be held in Dubai later this year. In Abu Dhabi, Secretary Kerry will participate in Pre-COP28 [ https://www.cop28.com/en/accelerate-climate-action-at-pre-cop28 ], a key preparatory meeting with a significant number of other governments.
