The Week Ahead: Key Events and Meetings – 1-7 May 2023
What does the right to a “clean, healthy and sustainable environment” mean in practice?
3 May, Strasbourg – Senior politicians, presidents of domestic Supreme and Constitutional courts and high-level representatives of national and international bodies from across Europe and beyond will take part in a high-level conference on the right to a clean, healthy and sustainable environment.

The research has been done by a group of Master-level students from Spain, with the support of the Spanish network of Intercultural Cities (RECI).
2 May, Strasbourg – The European Court of Human Rights will notify in writing five judgments concerning Bulgaria, Germany and Russia.
4 May, Strasbourg – The European Court of Human Rights will notify in writing 20 judgments and/or decisions concerning Azerbaijan, the Czech Republic, France, Hungary, Ireland, Portugal and Ukraine.
The overview for the Republic of Moldova will be launched at a high-level event aimed at providing a platform for exchange on the main findings and recommendations between representatives of national authorities, civil society organisations, Council of Europe and ECPAT International.
