(AGENPARL) – VENEZIA gio 27 aprile 2023 The lecture discusses the potential intersections between genetic criticism, which is interested in the process of ‘text-making’, and cultural memory studies (for example books and articles by Astrid Erll, Jan Assman, Aleida Assman, Birgit Neumann), the discipline that is interested in the process of ‘memory-making’. After introducing genetic criticism and memory studies from a theoretical perspective, the lecture will present a possible intersection between those two approaches in a case study from Polish literature.
