The College of Technology at Purdue University Northwest (PNW) recently hosted its 14th annual Technology Day, marking a celebration of scholarly accomplishments for the college’s students. Many featured poster presentations of their capstone projects or co-curricular achievements in the main concourse of the Student Union & Library Building.

“We have seven active student organizations this academic year,” said Niaz Latif, dean of the College of Technology. “These clubs have been very active in national collegiate competitions, fundraising, and campus and community outreach activities. They have engaged with members of industry as guest speakers for club meetings and have visited our industry partner sites. Our students put in many hours preparing for collegiate competitions and are also involved in community engagement. They make us very proud!”

The day also helped highlight the college’s impact on Northwest Indiana through its alumni working in the region and key partnerships with industry leaders. More than 40 College of Technology advisory board members attended a luncheon with College of Technology faculty and staff, other PNW administrators and PNW students.
