(AGENPARL) – BRUXELLES lun 17 aprile 2023 Wishing to highlight and mitigate the impact of the pandemic on young people, the European Commission President, Ursula von der Leyen, used her 2021 State of the Union address to name 2022 the European Year of Youth (EYY22). Following 12 months of varied youth-related activities, the thematic year concluded with a conference in December 2022. The European Parliament is committed to securing a lasting legacy for EYY22. In that context, Members will ask questions of the Commission on this topic during the April plenary session.
