Statement from Economic Development, Investment and Trade Minister Jeff Wharton on the 150th Anniversary of the Winnipeg Chamber Of Commerce
This year marks the 150th anniversary of the Winnipeg Chamber Of Commerce. During those 15 decades, businesses from all across the community have come to the Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce in search of a place dedicated to supporting, promoting, and growing their dreams.
As a small business owner, I understand how critical it is to have a network of supports and a knowledgeable team of experts dedicated to helping navigate the ever-changing business landscape. The Winnipeg Chamber has proven itself to be vital to the success of our local economy and will continue to be so into the future.
I would also like to personally thank Loren Remillard and all the Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce members, past and present, for your dedicated hard work in growing local businesses and fostering the entrepreneurship spirit in Winnipeg. You should take great joy in knowing the work you are doing today is creating the building blocks to a more prosperous community for many years to come.
