Date for Inquest into the Death of David Miskie Announced

Dr. Kenneth Peckham, Regional Supervising Coroner for Central Region, Central West Office, has announced the date for the inquest into the death of David Miskie.
Mr. Miskie, 56, died on December 5, 2017, of injuries sustained while working at a construction site in Mississauga. An inquest into his death is mandatory under the Coroners Act.
The inquest will examine the circumstances surrounding Mr. Miskie’s death. The jury may make recommendations aimed at preventing future deaths from occurring in similar circumstances.
The inquest is expected to last two days and hear from approximately three witnesses.
The inquest will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, April 11, 2023. Dr. Richard McLean will be the presiding officer and Kim Motyl will be inquest counsel.
