The Library of Congress is accepting applications for an Administrative Coordinator (Temporary Position), GS-11, until February 14, 2023.
The Congressional Research Service (CRS), Foreign Affairs, Defense, and Trade Division (FDT) seeks an Administrative Coordinator to serve as a resource for implementing and maintaining administrative procedures and processes to support the day-to-day operational needs of the office and in support of the office’s leadership team. Candidates with demonstrated experience working with automated systems and computer technology for the purpose of creating, maintaining, and tracking confidential information are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
The incumbent functions as an office coordinator, creating, maintaining, and monitoring human resource and administrative requirements, such as:
– performance assessment tracking
– products tracking
– internal website content maintenance on Sharepoint
– customer request information
– work schedules/events tracking, and
– tracking administrative deadlines for compliance.
The incumbent integrates several types of software and computer technology to generate specific working documents, forms, and processes (e.g., Excel, Outlook, virtual conferencing tools, Word, Sharepoint), and transmits a variety of requests to office leadership. The incumbent creates and maintains a central digital repository to file, track, and maintain office records and products.
The incumbent edits, as necessary, finished administrative documents for responsiveness and completeness. Applicants must have had progressively responsible experience and training sufficient in scope and quality to furnish them with an acceptable level of the following knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the position without more than normal supervision. One (1) year of specialized experience at the GS-09 grade level in the federal service or at a comparable level of difficulty outside the federal service is required.
