The booster includes protection against the original COVID strain and the omicron variant. It is available for all people over the age of 5. CDC recommends that everyone stay up to date with vaccines based on:
Your age
The vaccine you first got
The length of time since your last dose
Other factors like if you recently tested positive for COVID or are immunocompromised
