Dual Plumbing (Alternate Water Systems) Ordinance
On November 15, 2022, the Law and Legislation Committee of the City Council will be asked to review the Dual Plumbing (Alternate Water Systems) Ordinance and pass a Motion forwarding the Ordinance to City Council for consideration on December 6th. The Dual Plumbing (Alternate Water Systems) Ordinance would require certain new large commercial (non-residential) development to install separate additional piping systems that could be utilized for the reuse of gray water for end uses such as subsurface irrigation, or toilet and urinal flushing.
