Volare: ITA Airways’ fidelity program has reached 500,000 members
To celebrate, the airline will reward the member no. 500,000 with Executive status
Rome, 11 July 2022 – ITA Airways is pleased to announce that Volare, the airline’s loyalty program, has already reached 500,000 members. It is an excellent result considering that the program was launched only on 15 October 2021, less than 9 months ago.
This outcome confirms that ITA Airways is following the right path towards its primary objective to put the customer at the center of the business with increasing initiatives aimed at satisfying the passengers’ needs.
To celebrate this accomplishment, ITA Airways has decided to reward member no. 500,000, who will receive a gift upgrade of three levels, from Smart to Executive.

For this reason, we have decided to thank our 500,000th member by offering him an upgrade to the Executive Club. Volare was created to put the customers at the center and allowing them to accumulate and spend points with ease and flexibility. We are delighted that our customers continue to choose us for their leisure and business travel, and very soon they will also be able to take advantage of the services and products of the partners that will join the program.”
The Executive level immediately allows priority access to dedicated services, such as check-in at Business Class counters, access to lounges, fast track, extra baggage, the seat can be chosen for free and the passenger will have 30% more points than those accumulated with a Club Smart membership.
