Caricasulo: race pace ok and positive friday!
Venerdì positivo a Misano per Althea Racing e Federico Caricasulo, subito veloci nonostante la ricerca non sia stata quella del giro singolo ma di un passo gara che si rivelerà fondamentale come punto di partenza per il setup definitivo di domani, prima delle qualifiche e di gara1. L’adeguamento tecnico concesso dagli organizzatori, unitamente al lavoro svolto, rende la squadra fiduciosa per un buon risultato nel week end di casa.
Positive Friday in Misano for Althea Racing and Federico Caricasulo, immediately fast despite the search was not that of a single lap but of a race pace that will prove to be crucial as a starting point for tomorrow’s definitive setup, before qualifying and race1. The technical adjustment granted by the organizers, together with the work done, makes the team confident for a good result in the home race weekend.
E’ stata una giornata positiva, abbiamo lavorato tanto per la gara e secondo me non abbiamo un brutto passo, anzi, mi sento competitivo.
Non abbiamo cercato il giro secco ma domani in prova dobbiamo fare quello step lì per partire davanti perché sarà importantissimo. Però adesso per la gara mi sento fiducioso.
It was a positive day, we worked hard for the race and in my opinion we don’t have a bad pace, on the contrary, I feel competitive.
We didn’t look for the flying lap but tomorrow in practice we have to take that step there to start from the front because it will be very important. But now I feel confident for the race.
Abbiamo trovato, nella giornata di oggi, le conferme su cui puntavamo e su cui abbiamo lavorato, ossia una maggiore stabilità della moto e una maggiore solidità e continuità delle prestazioni. Adesso possiamo dire di essere in grado di giocarci qualcosa di buono, anche grazie all’adeguamento che la Federazione e gli organizzatori ci hanno finalmente concesso. Apprezziamo questi aggiornamenti perché ci consentono una migliore gestibilità del pacchetto tecnico; tutto questo ci rende fiduciosi per il week end.
We have found, today, the confirmations we were aiming for and on which we worked, that is, greater stability of the bike and greater solidity and continuity of performance. Now we can say that we are able to play something good, also thanks to the adjustment that the Federation and the organizers have finally granted us. We appreciate these updates because they allow us a better manageability of the technical package; all this makes us confident for the weekend.
