** ALTHEA RACING CHIUDE IL WEEKEND DI MOST CON RIMONTE E DETERMINAZIONE

Il team Althea Racing ha affrontato il quinto round del Campionato Mondiale 2025 sul tracciato di Most con determinazione e spirito di squadra, portando a casa rimonte importanti e dati fondamentali in vista dei prossimi appuntamenti. Il meteo variabile ha reso il lavoro più complesso, ma i piloti Simon Jespersen e Leonardo Taccini hanno risposto con impegno e lucidità in entrambe le gare.
Jespersen ha mostrato un buon ritmo per tutto il weekend, risalendo dalla 19ª posizione in griglia fino all’11ª in Gara 1. Nella seconda manche ha gestito bene la fase iniziale della corsa, salvo rallentare nei giri finali a causa di un’usura anomala dello pneumatico, che ha compromesso una top ten ampiamente alla sua portata; ha tagliato il traguardo in 16ª posizione.
Taccini, partito molto indietro (dalla 25esima posizione), ha messo in pista una grande rimonta sabato, tagliando il traguardo in 13ª posizione. In Gara 2, un contatto alla prima curva lo ha costretto a uscire di pista: rientrato in 31ª posizione, ha recuperato terreno fino alla 23ª piazza.
Il Campionato Mondiale proseguirà in Italia, con il sesto round previsto dal 13 al 15 giugno al Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli, dove Althea Racing correrà davanti al proprio pubblico con l’obiettivo di alzare l’asticella.
The Althea Racing team faced the fifth round of the 2025 World Championship at the Most circuit with determination and team spirit, achieving important comebacks and gathering valuable data for upcoming events. The variable weather made conditions more challenging, but riders Simon Jespersen and Leonardo Taccini responded with commitment and clarity in both races.
Jespersen showed good pace throughout the weekend, climbing from 19th on the grid to 11th in Race 1. In the second race, he managed the early stages well but slowed down in the final laps due to abnormal tire wear, which compromised a top ten finish that was well within his reach; he crossed the line in 16th place.
Taccini, starting from far back (25th position), put in a strong comeback on Saturday, crossing the line in 13th place. In Race 2, a contact at the first corner forced him off the track; after rejoining in 31st place, he recovered to finish 23rd.
The World Championship will continue in Italy with the sixth round scheduled from June 13 to 15 at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli, where Althea Racing will race in front of its home crowd with the goal of raising the bar.
“È stato un weekend in salita. Siamo partiti davvero male il venerdì, ma sabato siamo riusciti a reagire bene e a recuperare fino alla 13ª posizione, che è un risultato positivo considerando la griglia di partenza. In Gara 2 avevamo un ottimo passo, ma alla prima curva sono stato coinvolto in un contatto che mi ha mandato nella ghiaia. Mi sono ritrovato a oltre cinque secondi dall’ultimo, ho spinto per cercare di rimontare ma nel finale ho pagato lo sforzo, finendo le gomme e chiudendo 23º. Portiamo a casa il lavoro fatto e guardiamo avanti con fiducia.”
“It was a tough weekend. We had a really bad start on Friday, but on Saturday we managed to bounce back and recover up to 13th position, which is a positive result considering the starting grid. In Race 2, we had a great pace, but at the first corner I was involved in a contact that sent me into the gravel. I found myself over five seconds behind the last rider, pushed hard to catch up, but towards the end I paid the price, running out of tires and finishing 23rd. We take away the work done and look ahead with confidence.”
“Abbiamo lavorato bene durante tutto il weekend. La prima gara è andata nella direzione giusta e ho trovato subito un buon passo. Nella seconda abbiamo avuto qualche difficoltà sul finale, ma in generale sono contento del feeling con la moto.”
“We worked well throughout the weekend. The first race went in the right direction and I immediately found a good pace. In the second race we had some difficulties towards the end, but overall I’m happy with the feeling on the bike.”
“Il weekend di Most è stato un weekend complicato, soprattutto per le condizioni meteo. La gara del sabato ha permesso ad entrambi i nostri piloti di rimontare fino al ridosso della top ten, risultato non del tutto scontato, soprattutto considerando la posizione che occupavano in griglia di partenza.
Gara 2, purtroppo, non è andata come speravamo: Jespersen, mentre occupava la decima posizione con un buon ritmo, negli ultimi sei giri ha dovuto fare i conti con un lieve problema tecnico che lo ha rallentato. Taccini, invece, alla prima curva è finito nella ghiaia, transitando in 31ª posizione; purtroppo questo ha compromesso tutta la sua gara.
Mi aspetto a Misano una dimostrazione di forza che ci permetta di dimostrare il nostro reale potenziale.”
“The weekend in Most was a challenging one, mainly due to the weather conditions. Saturday’s race allowed both of our riders to fight back to the edge of the top ten — a result that was not at all guaranteed, especially considering their starting positions on the grid.
Race 2, unfortunately, didn’t go as we had hoped: Jespersen, while running in tenth place with a good pace, had to deal with a minor technical issue in the last six laps that slowed him down. Taccini, on the other hand, ended up in the gravel at the first corner, dropping to 31st position; unfortunately, this compromised his entire race.
At Misano, I expect a strong performance that will allow us to show our true potential.”
