President of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities to hold de-briefing for journalists on the Plenary Session on Thursday 27 March
The President will report about the debates held during the Congress session, including the recovery and reconstruction of Ukraine; the situation of local and regional democracy in Georgia; dismissal of mayors in Türkiye (the debate to take place after the de-briefing on Thursday morning); foreign interference in local elections; homelessness in European cities; human trafficking for labour exploitation; violence against women in politics; and water resources under stress, among others; as well as about first-time participation of representatives of Belarusian democratic forces in the session.
The de-briefing will take place in the Office of the President (Room 1.042, 1st floor, Palais de l’Europe) at 9h40 on Thursday. Language regime: French with English interpretation.
