CUT’s Department of Business Management accorded full accreditation by HR Professional body in South Africa
The Department of Business Management at the Central University of Technology, Free State (CUT) has reached a significant milestone. The South African Board of People Practices (SABPP), the HR Professional body in South Africa, has granted full accreditation to the department’s programmes for the next five years.
The accreditation is effective December 2nd, 2023, and will be valid until December 3rd, 2028. It demonstrates the university’s dedication to excellence and quality education.
“Since the SABPP Board’s approval of the full accreditation is for five years, we will focus on implementing the suggested quality improvement plan and remediation to maintain high standards,” said Dr. Lineo Dzansi, Head of the Department.
The accreditation evaluation was conducted on October 12th and 13th, 2023, for the following qualifications:
* Diploma in Human Resources Management
* Advanced Diploma in Human Resources Management
* Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resource Management
* Master of Management Sciences in Human Resource Management
* Doctor of Human Resource Management
* Doctor of Philosophy in Management Sciences: Human Capital Management
“This remarkable achievement will enhance the learning experience for our students, particularly as we commemorate our 20th anniversary. It comes at an opportune time as we expand our fully online programmes, with the Advanced Diploma in HR Management being our first offering”, said Prof. Albert Strydom, Faculty Dean of Management Sciences.
