L’attesa è finita: scopri le mostre e gli autori della quattordicesima
edizione di Cortona On The Move!
Dall’11 luglio al 3 novembre, attraverso decine di esposizioni allestite
tra gli edifici del centro storico di Cortona, la Fortezza del Girifalco
e la Stazione C di Camucia, esploreremo il tema “Body of Evidence”.
Celebreremo il corpo come luogo di libertà nella mostra collettiva “The
Body as a Canvas [3]” e con la mostra “They Don’t Look Like Me [4]” di
Niccolò Rastrelli ideata e realizzata in partnership con Autolinee
Toscane. Ne valorizzeremo la resilienza con le mostre “Cronache d’acqua
– Immagini dal Nord Italia [5]”, in partnership con Intesa Sanpaolo e
Gallerie d’Italia, e “From the Ashes, I Rose ?? ?????? ???? – Un viaggio
nell’ospedale di Medici Senza Frontiere in Giordania [6]” di Rehab
Eldalil.
Rifletteremo sulla narrazione del corpo grazie a “Sexual Fantasies [7]”
di Myriam Boulos e sulle battaglie sociali e politiche che mettono il
corpo al centro con le mostre “The Last Safe Abortion [8]” di Carmen
Winant e “American Mirror [9]” di Philip Montgomery.
Daremo luce a un percorso fotografico inedito sulla rappresentazione del
corpo attingendo all’Archivio della Fondazione Alinari per la Fotografia
[10] e faremo insieme un viaggio dall’inizio del corpo – con la mostra
interamente dedicata ai visitatori più piccoli “Giro Giro Corpo.
Fotolibri per bambini e adulti bambini [11]”, realizzata con Kublaiklan
e Spazio BK – fino alla sua fine, con la mostra collettiva “This Is the
End [12]”, dedicata alla morte.

The wait is over: discover the exhibitions and artists of the fourteenth
edition of Cortona On The Move!
From July 11 to November 3, through dozens of exhibitions spread across
the historic buildings of Cortona, the Fortezza del Girifalco, and
Stazione C in Camucia, we will explore the theme “Body of Evidence”.
We’ll celebrate the body as a place of freedom with the collective
exhibition “The Body as a Canvas [15]” and Niccolò Rastrelli’s “They
Don’t Look Like Me [16]”, created in partnership with Autolinee Toscane.
We’ll highlight its resilience with “Cronache d’acqua – Immagini dal
Nord Italia [17]”, in partnership with Intesa Sanpaolo and Gallerie
d’Italia, and “From the Ashes, I Rose ?? ?????? ???? – [18]Inside the
Medici Senza Frontiere hospital in Jordan [19]” by Rehab Eldalil.
We’ll reflect on the narrative of the body with Myriam Boulos’ “Sexual
Fantasies [20]” and on the social and political battles that put the
body at the center with Carmen Winant’s “The Last Safe Abortion [21]”
and Philip Montgomery’s “American Mirror [22]”.
We’ll explore a new photographic journey on the representation of the
body through the Alinari Foundation for Photography Archive [23], and
we’ll take a journey together from the beginning of the body–with the
exhibition “Giro Giro Corpo. [24]Photobooks for Children and Adult
Children [25]”, created with Kublaiklan and Spazio BK, dedicated to our
youngest visitors–to its end, with the collective exhibition “This Is
the End [26],” dedicated to death.
