(AGENPARL) - Roma, 19 Luglio 2023 - (AGENPARL) – mer 19 luglio 2023 Lessons learned: Competition in public procurement
Our latest report looks at how competition in public procurement can be improved and offers practical advice. It’s particularly relevant as the Procurement Bill makes its way through Parliament.
Government has estimated up to £7.7bn could be saved annually from increased competition in public procurement.
Our report examines whether government has mechanisms in place to understand and encourage competition in public procurement, and how government departments can make their use of competition more effective.
The report draws on our insights from examining procurement processes of differing values and types, from the Superfast Broadband Programme to asylum accommodation and support services. There are a set of key findings and recommendations which anyone involved in public procurement will find useful.
