The National Theatre announced today that Milly Alcock will make her West End debut as Abigail in Lyndsey Turner’s acclaimed production of The Crucible. Set designed by Es Devlin, this new production of Arthur Miller’s gripping parable of power and its abuse will play at the Gielgud Theatre from 7 June until 2 September. Further casting to be announced.
Rising star Milly Alcock is most known for her role in the acclaimed HBO series, House of the Dragon, a prequel to George R. R. Martin’s epic fantasy drama Game of Thrones. Starring alongside Matt Smith, Paddy Considine and Olivia Cooke, Alcock earned a Critics’ Choice Award nomination (‘Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series’, 2023) for her performance as the young Rhaenyra Targaryen.
