Media Invitation: Results of poll on ‘Europeans and space activities’
Media representatives are invited to a press meeting and Q&A session with ESA’s Director General Josef Aschbacher on 15 November at 08:00 GMT/09:00 CET, to hear about the results of the latest poll about ‘Europeans and space activities’, carried out by Harris Interactive and Toluna on behalf of ESA in September and October 2022.
—————————————————————
The ‘Europeans and space activities’ survey focuses on European perceptions of the purpose of space activities, the European space autonomy and private players in space activities. This was carried out online between 25 September and 6 October 2022 and questioned over 21 000 Europeans, in 22 representative samples of national populations aged 18 or over.
The poll was conducted ahead of ESA’s Ministerial Council (CM22), which will be held in Paris on 22/23 November. At CM22, ESA’s Member States, Associate Members and cooperating states will be invited to strengthen Europe’s space ambitions and ensure that space continues to serve European citizens.
