New Building Electrification Ordinance
On September 20, the Law and Legislation Committee will review the New Building Electrification Ordinance, which has been updated to align with the 2022 California Building Standards Code. Dual Plumbing Ordinance Framework
On September 20, 2022, the Law and Legislation Committee of the City Council will be asked to review and comment on a proposed framework and workplan for a Dual Plumbing Ordinance. A Dual Plumbing Ordinance would require certain new large commercial (nonresidential) development to install dual plumbing to allow for the reuse of greywater onsite for purposes such as landscape irrigation.
