(AGENPARL) - Roma, 20 Gennaio 2026(AGENPARL) – Tue 20 January 2026 (Brussels, 20 January 2026)
“The European business community stands in full solidarity with Denmark and the people of Greenland. Respecting territorial integrity and sovereignty is fundamental to upholding international law. They are essential pillars in providing stability and predictability for our companies and our economies.
The transatlantic economy is the biggest and most important in the world, generating mutual benefits for companies and citizens on both sides of the Atlantic. Additional tariffs will benefit no one and could seriously undermine the relationship. We hope that an acceptable solution can be achieved through dialogue. Europe should be firm in defending its interests in case they are undermined. Europe must remain united and coordinated in its response.”
