NATO Deputy Secretary General to visit Portugal [https://www.nato.int]
On 7 and 8 January 2026, the NATO Deputy Secretary General, Ms Radmila Shekerinska, will travel to Porto and Lisbon, Portugal.
Ms Shekerinska will meet with the Minister of State and Foreign Affairs, Mr Paulo Rangel, and the Minister of Defence, Mr Nuno Melo, as well as with the President of NATO Parliamentary Assembly, Mr Marcos Perestrello.
On 8 January, she will visit the Naval Striking and Support Forces NATO Headquarters and the NATO Communications & Information Agency. She will also be visiting the Joint Analysis and Lessons Learned Centre.
During her visit, she will also deliver a speech at the Catholic University followed by a Q&A session.
There will be no media opportunity.

Ces 7 et 8 janvier 2026, la secrétaire générale déléguée de l’OTAN, Mme Radmila Shekerinska, sera à Porto et à Lisbonne, au Portugal.
Elle rencontrera le ministre d’État et ministre des Affaires étrangères, M. Paulo Rangel, le ministre de la Défense, M. Nuno Melo, et le président de l’Assemblée parlementaire de l’OTAN, M. Marcos Perestrello.
Le 8 janvier, elle visitera le quartier général des Forces navales OTAN d’intervention et de soutien ainsi que l’Agence OTAN d’information et de communication. Elle se rendra également au Centre interarmées d’analyse et de retour d’expérience.
En outre, elle prononcera un discours, suivi d’une séance de questions-réponses, à l’Université catholique.
Il n’y aura pas de couverture médias.
