In brief Eradicating poverty*. The United Nations International Day for the Eradication of Poverty fell on Friday 17 October. Parliament will mark it, immediately after the opening of the session, with a statement by Commission Executive Vice-President Roxana Mînzatu followed by one round of political group speakers.
Single market rules fit for the twin digital and green transition*. In an evening debate with Commission Executive Vice-President Stéphane Séjourné, Members will discuss ways to update the EU’s system for product conformity assessment and market surveillance.
