TIM ENERGIA POWERED BY POSTE ITALIANE IS BORN, LAUNCHING A NEW
ENERGY OFFERING FOR ALL HOUSEHOLDS, WITH FIXED PRICES AND
PERSONALISED PAYMENT PLANS
TIM further expands its offer: from 29 September, it will also supply electricity and gas, in
addition to connectivity, streaming content, and innovative day-to-day products and services
First industrial collaboration between TIM and Poste Italiane
TIM has expanded its sales network to cover the retail energy market, launching TIM Energia Luce e Gas
powered by Poste Italiane in over 750 TIM stores from 29 September. The new services are designed to meet
the needs of all households, with exclusive benefits for TIM customers. Specifically, electricity deals are tailormade with the support of a TIM consultant based on the customer’s actual consumption, using sustainable
and certified electricity from 100% renewable sources.

to providing an integrated response to all customer needs through a quality offering that spans entertainment
to advanced connectivity services, Artificial Intelligence, the cloud, cybersecurity, and financial and insurance
solutions.”
Details of TIM Energia powered by Poste Italiane
TIM Energia Luce offers a fixed monthly payment option for electricity supplies, tailor-made and calculated
based on the previous year’s consumption. The aim is to stabilise spending and protect the household budget
from market fluctuations. At the end of the year, the new instalment plan is calculated based on actual
consumption. The price of the electricity is set per kWh and remains frozen for 12 months.
TIM Energia Gas, on the other hand, is priced based on the variable cost of the raw material indexed to the
VTP (Virtual Trading Point, which sets wholesale gas prices), plus a supplier margin that is locked for 12
months. This will ensure transparency and automatically adjusts the price of the raw material to fluctuations
in the Italian gas market.
A focus on sustainability is an integral part of the new offering. The electricity supplied comes 100% from
certified renewable sources, while the CO₂ emissions associated with the gas supply are fully offset. The
combination of fixed power prices and environmental protection allows households to better plan their
energy spending, reduce their exposure to price volatility and, at the same time, contribute to more
responsible consumption.
Special promotions are planned for the launch of the service. New customers who sign up at the same time
for TIM WiFi Casa, TIM TV and TIM mobile, along with TIM Energia Luce and Gas plans, can receive discounts
of up to 190 euros over 12 months, split into instalments on their TIM or TIM Energia bills. For existing TIM
customers, the discount is 65 euros/year if they activate electricity only (or gas only), and doubles to 130
euros/year if they switch to both.
Customers who choose to have “everything” with TIM will be able to access additional benefits thanks to
simple and integrated all-inclusive plans: WiFi, Ultra 5G, TimVision content, priority assistance on the 187
helpline, latest-generation smartphones, and TIM Energia offers.
The MyTIM App will allow customers to view bills, check monthly usage data and change their meter power.
