(AGENPARL) – Mon 08 September 2025 Opening of a new room dedicated to modern and contemporary art
From 7 October, visitors to the Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium (RMFAB) will discover a new space dedicated to modern and contemporary art. The works on display will change twice a year, creating a dialogue between pieces from the collection and pieces from external collections.
To inaugurate the concept, the new room will host paintings by Belgian painter Georges Meurant and textile creations by Bonolo Kavula, a young South African artist. This colourful encounter marks the return of modern and contemporary art to the Brussels institution.
