Nitto ATP Finals, Turin is ready for the fifth edition
Here’s all the news!
It will be played from Nov. 9th to 16th at the Inalpi Arena. Alcaraz is IN, Sinner one step away
Turin, July 17th, 2025 – Where magic meets tennis! From November 9th to 16th, the
Nitto ATP Finals will return to Turin for the highly anticipated fifth edition of the
tournament that concludes the men’s season. The “Magic City” will once again be the
perfect stage to welcome the best eight players and the best eight doubles pairs of the
PIF ATP Race to Turin ranking, in a glowing Inalpi Arena for the most awaited and
exciting week of the year.
The 2024 edition ended in the name of spectacle and sporting excellence with the
triumph of Jannik Sinner, the perfect conclusion of an event of international scope that
has left an indelible mark in the memory of fans and not only. Success also certified by
the numbers: over € 503.4 million of total economic impact (evaluated by BCG), 396.3
million overall audience (including linear TV, digital streaming and social content
monitored by YouGov), 97% customer satisfaction (measured by Nielsen) and a
record number of 203,114 tickets sold (a good 27,711 more than 2023, with an
increase of 85% compared to 2021). Extraordinary data, matured in a context oriented
towards maximum sustainability: the Nitto ATP Finals 2024, in fact, have confirmed
themselves as a virtuous model, generating € 332 million in social benefits and
obtaining the ESG AA+ rating (assessed by OpenEconomics), an award reserved for
events that effectively combine environmental sustainability, social responsibility and
governance. And it is from these emotions and these results that the journey towards a
new chapter begins, even richer in expectations and passion.
To best illustrate the 2025 edition with all its novelties, a press conference was held
today at the Intesa Sanpaolo skyscraper in Turin to present the Masterplan.
After the welcome address by Intesa Sanpaolo Chairman Gian Maria Gros-Pietro,
speakers included the President of the Italian Tennis and Padel Federation, Angelo
Binaghi, the ATP Chairman, Andrea Gaudenzi through a video message, the Mayor of
Turin Stefano Lo Russo, the Councillor for Trade, Agriculture and Food, Tourism, Sport
and Post-Olympic, Hunting and Fishing, and Parks of the Piedmont Region, Paolo
Bongioanni, and, Luca Villa, EMEA General Manager Channel & Sales Office Manager
Nitto Italia, who read a message from Hideo Takasaki, President and Ceo of Nitto
Denko Corporation. Finally, point by point, the Masterplan of the Nitto ATP Finals 2025
was illustrated by the General Manager of the FITP, Marco Martinasso.
The transversality of the Turin event – which increasingly combines sporting excellence
with entertainment and music – was realised with the video participation of singersongwriter Max Pezzali and the singer of the Pinguini Tattici Nucleari, Riccardo
Zanotti, protagonists of the second edition of the Grand Opening Show and guest stars
of the meeting with journalists.
THE EXPERIENCE EVOLVES, THE SHOW GROWS – The Masterplan 2025 of the Nitto
ATP Finals is the consolidation of an ambitious project that the Italian Tennis and
Padel Federation is carrying out thanks to the precious support of the Government,
the Piedmont Region and the City of Turin. A project that manages to flawlessly blend
sport, entertainment, haute cuisine, sustainability and innovation, with the precise
objective of elevating the fan experience to a level of absolute excellence.
The design evolution – riding the wave of the success of past editions – will celebrate
Italian excellence and allow this event to cross, once again, the boundaries of sport to
enter a new dimension that will offer all spectators a unique and unforgettable
experience.
The most important structural intervention will relate to increasing the capacity of the
Inalpi Arena. An important step, given the increasing demand for tickets from all over
the world. The expansion – made possible thanks to the introduction of additional rows
and corner stands, as well as a reconfiguration of the grandstands – will guarantee,
already this year, an increase, compared to last year’s edition, of 684 seats per session:
more spectators, more energy on the court and therefore more spectacle, but also
more resources to be reinvested in the development of the event and the promotion of
Italian tennis. This increase, moreover, will be destined to grow further in 2026, with the
completion of the optimisation work.
Also within the Inalpi Arena, the development and enhancement process will also
involve hospitality areas; the Partners Shared Lounge in the Sebastopoli Foyer will be
further expanded, in response to the entry of new sponsors and the expected increase
in attendance. At the same time, in order to ensure an even more curated and
distinctive experience, it will be possible to appreciate a stylistic renovation of the bars
and dining rooms in the Sebastopoli and Filadelfia Foyers, with the extraordinary
participation of Maestro Iginio Massari and the Chefs of the ‘starred restaurants’ Da
Vittorio, La Credenza and Casa Format, who will be joined during the event by other
famous ‘visiting Chefs’ from the Piedmont area.
The Fan Village will be larger, more functional, more spectacular, simply… sensational!
The entire area – which will be able to accommodate up to 5,750 people at the same
time (+10% of the total capacity compared to 2024) – will be at the centre of a restyling
that will allow the contamination of the practice of federal disciplines with
entertainment and taste in a single immersive story. And this year also, thanks to a
dedicated ticket, anyone who wishes will be able to access the renovated Fan Village
spaces and experience the Nitto ATP Finals from a new perspective.
The heart of the sports activities – Racquetland – will be substantially upgraded, with
renewed spaces dedicated to padel, pickleball and beach tennis, and a new and
expanded area dedicated to eSports, even more central and engaging. Inside, there
will also be the brand-new Simulation Hub, an experiential platform where the racquet
disciplines can be experienced in a virtual way and where the most advanced
technologies applied to sport can be experimented: artificial intelligence, augmented
reality, immersive gaming and much more. A dynamic and innovative ecosystem,
designed to bring the public closer to the future of tennis through interaction, discovery
and play. The Food Court, the space dedicated to catering, will have an area of over
3,700 mq (+15% compared to 2024) and 10% more seats. The food and wine offer,
increasingly richer thanks to the involvement of important street food brands, in
collaboration with CAMST, will guarantee visitors unique culinary experiences.
Absolute excellence, in the heart of the most captivating event in world tennis.
Piazzale Grande Torino and the show production that will animate it, will represent
another highlight of this edition of the event: the façade of the Fan Village and the new
canopy will become the backdrop of an integrated live show, enriched by a dedicated
graphic concept, beam lights, lasers and scenographic effects amplified by a LED
surface enlarged by 20%. The indoor connecting canopy between Inalpi Arena and Fan
Village, redesigned to improve aesthetics and usability, will be transformed thanks to
reflective materials on the ceiling and columns, the presence of LED screens and a light
frame running along its entire upper profile. A true open-air theatre, where light, sound
and architecture will merge under a single, skilful direction. A significant enhancement
of the show production is also planned inside the Inalpi Arena: motorised lights
integrated into the digiboards, a new DJ station to light up the atmosphere in the prematch period, and an unprecedented second LED ring, which will provide the
scenographic effect of a third visual ring. Finally, in the wake of the success at the Foro
Italico during the Masters 1000 and the WTA 1000 in Rome, the appointment with Music
Break is also planned in Turin. In order to guarantee a refined entertainment
experience in line with the prestige of the event, the musical programme of the Nitto
ATP Finals will see the participation of some of the most important Italian artists over
the eight days.
THE GRAND OPENING SHOW: BETWEEN SPORT, MUSIC AND PASSION – Artists of
international calibre. Lights, projections and special effects to transfigure the field into
a real stage. A concept designed to celebrate great Italian music and raise the curtain
on the biggest indoor tennis event in the world.
The Grand Opening Show of the Nitto ATP Finals 2025 promises to be a unique event.
On Thursday November 6th, starting at 9 p.m., at the Inalpi Arena, the spirit of the
competition will merge with the “beat” of live performances by Max Pezzali and the
Pinguini Tattici Nucleari. The artists, positioned on the court in place of the players
and separated only by the net, will exchange the ball hit after hit in a musical super tiebreak. More than 20 tracks will be on the setlist, songs that have made entire
generations sing, for an overwhelming musical journey. Tennis has never been so
spectacular. The Nitto ATP Finals 2025 opens with a promise: to make magic a
collective experience.
Tickets for the Grand Opening Show and Fan Village are now available for purchase at
the following address: https://tickets.nittoatpfinals.com/it
Once again, FITP members will be able to benefit from a discount on the purchase of
a single ticket: ‘Athletes’ (competitive and non-competitive) and ‘Gold’ members will
receive a 20% reduction, while ‘Socio’ members will benefit from a 10% discount.
INNOVATION SUMMIT, MEDIA DAY AND MEET THE CHAMPIONS – Turin is preparing
to welcome once again the protagonists of the Nitto ATP Finals, aiming even higher.
The 2025 edition will be enriched with appointments, turning the event into an
experience that combines sport, entertainment and sustainability.
It will start on Friday November 7th with the Innovation Summit, a moment of
confrontation dedicated to innovation and environmental responsibility. A unique
opportunity to explore solutions aimed at reducing CO₂ emissions, promote circular
economy practices and foster networking between local companies and the
tournament’s global partners. All this only confirms the central role of sustainability for
the Nitto ATP Finals, an event that is increasingly geared towards generating a positive
and lasting impact even off the court.
In the afternoon, the show will move to the cultural heart of the city, the Teatro Regio di
Torino, for a new edition of the Meet the Champions – Singles Players Celebration. In
a warm and informal atmosphere, the finalists of the singles tournament will be greeted
by fans before taking the stage inspired by the famous living room of the TV series
“Friends”.
Following the Meet the Champions, it will then be the turn of Media Day, the
appointment reserved for the press that will see at the OGR Turin the eight best players
of the season meet journalists and broadcasters from all over the world.
On Saturday November 8th, just a few hours before the start of the competitions, it will
be the turn of the Fan Village inauguration, with a day dedicated to families where
access to all the spaces will be free of charge. At 12:00 (noon), the show will intensify
with the Meet the Champions – Doubles Teams Celebration, the official presentation
of the doubles teams qualified for the tournament.
ALL THE EVENTS IN THE CITY – The Nitto ATP Finals 2025 are confirmed not only as a
world-class sporting event, but also as an engine of urban and cultural enhancement
for the city of Turin. The legacy left on the territory will be tangible and lasting, starting
with the creation of two murals on the theme of tennis and sustainability, in
collaboration with Nitto, designed to redevelop urban areas and leave a mark in the
collective memory. Another great novelty is the creation of a new “Luce d’Artista”
inspired by tennis, which will become a permanent part of the city’s annual exhibition,
with a debut planned in Piazza San Carlo. Not forgetting the Trophy Tour, which will
involve official partners for months, helping to project Turin’s image around the world.
On a local level, ten travelling stages will be organised with mini tennis courts and table
tennis tables, bringing sport to the most popular squares and parks. Finally, the city
centre’s symbolic streets – such as Via Po, Piazza San Carlo and Piazza Palazzo di
Città – will host widespread graphic and photographic exhibitions, transforming the city
into an open-air gallery. An edition that goes far beyond the court, making tennis an
integral part of Turin’s urban and cultural fabric.
AN EPIC MATCH-UP: THE WORLD’S BEST, ALL IN TURIN! – The star power of the Nitto
ATP Finals promises spectacle of the highest level, both technical and competitive.
One who is already certain of a place in the top eight is Carlos Alcaraz, this year’s
Roland Garros winner and currently leading the PIF ATP Race to Turin. Jannik Sinner is
a whisker away from arithmetic qualification for the big event at the end of the season,
ready to defend his success from last year. After his second consecutive success at the
Australian Open, the final at Roland Garros and the historic triumph at Wimbledon
(the first Italian to succeed in the feat of conquering the London grass), the number 1 in
the ATP ranking can write yet another page of Italian tennis history. There is also another
Italian athlete in great evidence in the PIF ATP Race to Turin: thanks to a stellar season
so far and a swing on clay as a true champion, Lorenzo Musetti is chasing his first
participation in the great end-of-season event. Even for the doubles tournament, there
is no lack of Italian hopefuls: the Bolelli-Vavassori duo, currently number 6 in the Race,
is ready to compete for the second consecutive year. Also in the running for a debut in
the competition are the american Ben Shelton and the briton Jack Draper, while the
champion of the 2018 and 2021 editions Alexander Zverev and last year’s finalist
Taylor Fritz are close to reconfirmation. Chasing yet another extraordinary record is
Novak Djokovic, in the hunt for his 18th Finals qualification.
THE FORMULA OF THE TOURNAMENT – The PIF ATP Race to Turin will determine who
will take to the fast track at the Nitto ATP Finals. The ranking will be calculated on the
basis of the 19 best results obtained by the athletes during the calendar year 2025.
Specifically, points won in the four Grand Slam tournaments, the eight ATP Masters
1000 compulsory tournaments and the best seven results recorded in other
tournaments (ATP Cup, Masters 1000 Monte-Carlo, United Cup, ATP 500, ATP 250, ATP
Challenger) will be taken into account.
In the event of a Grand Slam tournament victory by a player placed outside the top eight
of the ranking but within 20th position, the latter will qualify along with the top seven of
the Race.
The structure of the tournament is based on two round-robin groups, which are formed
with this system: the top two ranking players are divided into the two groups, the first
ranked in group A, the second in group B. Then pairs are formed using the ranking: third
and fourth, fifth and sixth, seventh and eighth. A draw is made in which the first drawn
will be in group A, the other will be in group B. The top two finishers in each group will
advance to the cross semi-finals, followed by the final.
SCHEDULE AND TICKETS – There are 15 game sessions and they will follow this
schedule: from Sunday 9th to Friday 14th there will be an afternoon session, starting no
earlier than 11:30 a.m., and an evening session, starting no earlier than 6 p.m. Saturday
15th is semi-finals day, with the afternoon session scheduled at 12:00 noon and the
evening session at 6:00 pm. The finals will take place on Sunday, November 16th,
starting at 3 p.m. with the doubles final, followed by the singles final, not before 6 p.m.
The purchase of tickets, as already mentioned, is not limited to the sessions inside the
Inalpi Arena: in fact, a ticket will be available to access the Fan Village, an extremely
active area of the site, to breathe the atmosphere of the event even without being on the
court. To complete the offer, tickets to attend the practice sessions that will be held
at the Inalpi Arena and at the Circolo della Stampa Sporting.
Season tickets and tickets for the Nitto ATP Finals, tickets for the Grand Opening Show,
the Fan Village and training sessions can be purchased at the tournament’s official
online ticket office https://tickets.nittoatpfinals.com
As usual, a special discount is reserved for FITP members. Specifically, FITP
‘Athlete’ (competitive and non-competitive) and ‘Gold’ members are entitled to a 20%
discount on the purchase of tickets (including the Grand Opening Show, the Fan Village
and training sessions) and a 10% discount on the purchase of season tickets, while FITP
Member members will enjoy a 10% discount on the purchase of tickets (including the
Grand Opening Show, the Fan Village and training sessions) and a 5% discount on the
purchase of season tickets.
THE PARTNERS TEAM OF THE NITTO ATP FINALS – In tennis, one is only apparently
alone. Achieving great goals requires talent, strength, passion and dedication, but also
– and above all – the support of a solid and cohesive team.
The same applies to the success of a major sporting event. As in past editions, in 2025
the Nitto ATP Finals can count on the valuable contribution of excellent Partners,
whose know-how and commitment will be fundamental to making the event in Turin
unforgettable once again.
Alongside Nitto, Title Partner of the event, Intesa Sanpaolo is confirmed in the role of
Host Partner, together with Emirates, Lavazza and Lexus, Platinum Partners of the
tournament.
Among the Gold Partners guarantee their support EA7 Emporio Armani, Rummo,
Haier, PIF – also official naming partner of the ATP Rankings – and Acqua Valmora,
which will be joined by Stella Artois from 2025. In the group of Silver Partners are Asti
DOCG, Dove, Dunlop, Frecciarossa, Yokohama, Vechain, IP, Iren, Italgas, Xerjoff,
together with the new FAGE, Official Yogurt of the event.
Rinascente and Torino Outlet Village are confirmed as Bronze Partners, joined by
Purina from the next edition. Still present as Official Suppliers are DAO, Gattinoni, GTT,
Technogym, Thomas Lyte, TicketOne, Turismo Torino e Provincia and Villa Antinori;
Iginio Massari Alta Pasticceria, Gelateria La Romana dal 1947 and Xiaomi join the
category starting this year.
Finally, the tournament counts on the constant support of the media partners of the
Nitto ATP Finals: La Gazzetta dello Sport, La Stampa, RTL 102.5 and Tuttosport.
ALL THE FEDERATION’S INITIATIVES DEDICATED TO YOUNGSTERS – Not only Nitto
ATP Finals. ‘Road to Turin’ is also the name of a circuit reserved for the Under 9, Under
11 and Under 13 men’s and women’s teams on which the FITP is focusing to complete
the offer dedicated to youngsters and to enrich its continuous training process. The final
Masters will be played in Turin from November 9th to 16th.
Also scheduled in the Piedmontese capital, during the week of the Nitto ATP Finals, is
the Master of the Junior Next Gen circuit, reserved for the Under 10, Under 12 and
Under 14 men’s and women’s categories.
On Friday November 7th at the “Pala Gianni Asta”, there will instead be the eagerly
awaited appointment with the celebration of “Racchette in Classe”, the FITP project in collaboration with FITeT and recognised by the Ministry of Education and Merit that has brought hundreds of thousands of youngsters in every corner of Italy closer to
tennis (and not only).
Space for the youngest, but not only: Turin will also be a prestigious showcase for
pickleball, the new racket sport that thus finds its place on a national scale: the
National Masters is scheduled on the courts set up in the Fan Village of the Inalpi Arena.
THE SUCCESS OF AN EVENT FOR THE GROWTH OF A SYSTEM – The mission of the
FITP is to favour and promote the spread of racket sports through the knowledge of
the disciplines, the possibility of being able to learn them and the possibility of
practising them. The work of the Federation has been oriented along these lines; a work
that, over the years, has borne fruit, leading Turin and the Nitto ATP Finals, as well as
Rome and the ATP and WTA 1000 Masters 1000, but also Bologna, with the group stage
and – from this year – the Final 8 of the Davis Cup, to become highly successful events.
A success that has allowed the FITP to have more and more resources to reinvest, as
mentioned, in the promotion and dissemination of racket sports, in every corner of the
country, at all levels, leading to an evident and constant growth of the “Italian System”.
STATEMENTS
Gian Maria Gros-Pietro, Intesa Sanpaolo Chairman: “Italian tennis is experiencing a
moment of extraordinary momentum thanks to our champions and an absolute
protagonist like Jannik Sinner. We support the Nitto ATP Finals and tennis for the great
opportunity that they represent for Turin and for Italy in terms of participation of Italian
and foreign fans and of economic impact, and not only, on the territory. This is an
important impact, which grows year after year according to a trend that will certainly be
confirmed in this edition as well’.
Angelo Binaghi, President of the Italian Tennis and Padel Federation: “Hosting the
Nitto ATP Finals for the fifth year, and therefore the best representatives of our
discipline, is a source of enormous pride for us. The consolidated success of these
events – which are constantly growing, enriching and looking to the future, thanks to the
daily work of the Federation and the Institutions – not only gives international lustre to
our country but also allows us to have more and more resources to invest in the
promotion and diffusion of our racket disciplines, which we want to be increasingly
accessible at all levels. The Nitto ATP Finals 2025 represent much more than a simple
competition: they are the celebration of what someone has renamed “Sistema Italia”,
and which has made the world talk about itself through facts, in these years of sporting
success, and not only. All that remains, therefore, is to anxiously await the start of this
new edition which, once again this year, will close the ATP competition calendar. After
the extraordinary triumph of Jannik Sinner last year – the first Italian in history to succeed
in this feat – Turin and Italy are ready to once again offer great tennis, spectacle and fun
to the many fans who, from every corner of the world, gather in Piedmont to experience
a small, great moment in the history of our sport in November”.
Andrea Gaudenzi, ATP Chairman: “We are already over halfway through the ATP circuit
season, but our hearts and minds are already in Turin: the ‘grand finale’ in November
where the eight best players in the world will compete over these eagerly awaited eight
days. We look forward to another chapter between Alcaraz and Sinner, the hottest
rivalry of the moment. We saw them play each other in the final at Roland Garros and in
the final at Wimbledon, and we will see them in Turin at the end of the year together with
other great champions. It will be a wonderful pool of players; it will be a magnificent
event as it is every year. And like every year, we have been improving. We have improved
the experience for on-site fans, improved the overall reach of the audience, and all this
thanks to a magnificent partnership with the entire FITP team, whom I thank. I thank
Angelo Binaghi and Marco Martinasso: there is a fantastic working relationship between
ATP and FITP. I also thank all the institutions that have supported the event over the
years. We want to continue to improve, and we will. I think there is no better moment in
history for Italy to have such an event, not only thanks to Jannik but also thanks to the
other players. But above all, thanks to the enthusiasm of all the Italians who are getting
more and more passionate and approaching tennis in a way that in my time I would have
envied because the focus was always on football. Now I would say that the number one
sport in Italy is tennis, and I am very proud of that. I would also like to thank all the media
that support our sport and help convey it to all fans. See you in Turin!”
Stefano Lo Russo, Mayor of the City of Turin: “Turin is proudly and enthusiastically
preparing for the last edition of the Nitto ATP Finals with the aim of making it even more
exciting and richer in side events and aiming for reconfirmation for the next five years.
Every major sporting event represents an opportunity to promote our city together with
passion, competition and the authentic values of sport. In this sense, we consider the
Nitto ATP Finals to be one of the most significant events among those on which we are
working for the international positioning of Turin, and we want to continue to host them
and make them grow, sharing this objective with the Turin system, starting with the
Piedmont Region and the Chamber of Commerce, and with the many institutional
subjects and private sponsors of our territory who have successfully supported the
initiative so far. This edition will see many international champions take to the court and
the great return of Jannik Sinner, who has a very special bond with our city, which he has
been able to conquer with his humility and extraordinary talent”.
Alberto Cirio, President of the Piedmont Region and Paolo Bongioanni, Councillor
for Commerce, Agriculture and Food, Tourism, Sport and Post-Olympic Games,
Hunting and Fishing, Parks of the Piedmont Region: “The Nitto ATP Finals represent
much more than a major sporting event: they are a symbol of Piedmont’s ability to
welcome the future, while enhancing its identity. The confirmation and continued
expansion of this event testify to the value of a shared vision, which unites institutions,
sport, culture and business to generate development, employment, beauty and social
cohesion. Thanks to teamwork and synergy with the Italian Tennis and Padel
Federation, the Government and all the partners involved, Turin has been able to carve
out a leading role for itself on the international scene, projecting our territory into a
dimension of excellence. The Nitto ATP Finals are a concrete demonstration that
investing in sport means investing in the territory, its economy, its young people and its
ability to attract, innovate and inspire. But also, that the example of the great champions
must be the push towards an active and widespread sporting practice, which sees all
our commitment so that it becomes an opportunity truly offered to all. It is from here
that we want to continue building the Piedmont of tomorrow, making sport one of the
strategic engines of our growth”.
Hideo Takasaki, President and Ceo of Nitto Denko Corporation: “First of all, I would
like to express my sincere gratitude to the ATP, FITP, and the City of Turin for their
tremendous efforts in making the Nitto ATP Finals possible. This year marks the fifth
edition of the Nitto ATP Finals held in Turin. Not only are the matches fiercely
competitive, but the entire city becomes immersed in tennis, making this tournament
an increasingly prominent global event where the city of Turin and tennis come together.
With the announcement of the overall plan for the 2025 Nitto ATP Finals, anticipation is
growing for the new moments of drama that are sure to unfold.
Top athletes from around the world striving to reach the top and giving their very best
move hearts and inspire people. With hopes for the continued success of these athletes
and the further growth of the tournament, Nitto has been fully supporting the Nitto ATP
Finals. As a company that places ESG at the core of its management, Nitto launched
the Nitto ATP Finals Torino Green Project in 2023, driven by the desire to help create a
better global environment for the future. Aimed at reducing CO₂ emissions in the host
city of Turin, the project has included activities such as tree planting. This year as well,
we will continue to promote this initiative together with the ATP, FITP, and the City of
Turin. Lastly, with the strong collaboration with the ATP, FITP, and the City of Turin, I am
confident that this year’s Nitto ATP Finals will once again be a fitting conclusion to the
season. I would like to sincerely wish everyone involved in the tournament continued
success, and I look forward to sharing the excitement with you all this November on this
stage where the world’s finest tennis will be showcased. Thank you!”.
