(AGENPARL) – Wed 18 June 2025 In response to recent media reports regarding pilot projects between Carrefour
and other providers of digital store solutions, Pricer wishes to clarify that
the company has maintained a long-standing partnership with Carrefour for more
than 20 years, with installations in over 1,700 stores, and that the exclusive
agreement signed between the parties in 2023 remains in full effect and
unchanged.
The agreement grants Pricer exclusive rights to supply electronic shelf label
(ESL) based solutions to Carrefour for a period of three years. It includes both
new installations and the replacement of existing systems, with the aim of
optimizing in-store automation and shelf-edge communication.
It is common practice in the retail industry for leading retailers to test and
evaluate new technologies from multiple providers. Pricer sees this as a natural
part of an industry in constant evolution and continues to deliver in accordance
with the current agreement with Carrefour.
