Take a trip through our collection with your class and discover the stories behind objects which take you to wondrous places in our new exhibition, Story Explorers. Inside the gallery you will discover ancient objects, surprising sounds, exciting art and a giant furry octopus! The experience enables learners to encounter three imaginary worlds: the ocean, space and the jungle and see objects from every continent.
During your 50-minute self-guided visit you will have the space entirely to yourselves.

Dive into the ocean with the best-selling author and illustrator of A Bit Lost and Oh No, George! in this special event to celebrate Story Explorers.
Meet Chris and hear him read his seaside adventures Don’t Worry, Little Crab and Well Done, Mummy Penguin with a little help from his puppet friend George. Students will also have a chance to ask Chris questions and find out about how he makes his iconic picture books in this fun-filled session.
This experience is offered in conjunction with a self-guided visit to the Story Explorers exhibition.
