CUT Executive re-appointed as a member of the Institutional Audits Committee (IAC) of the Council on Higher Education (CHE)
The Central University of Technology, Free State (CUT), congratulates Dr Choice Makhetha on her reappointment to the Council on Higher Education’s Institutional Audits Committee (IAC) (CHE). Dr Makhetha has been serving on this Committee since 25 February 2020 and is now re-appointed for
another five years, ending 26 February 2030.
“Dr. Makhetha has dedicated her time and effort to the Institutional Audits Committee, and we are deeply grateful for her service. We fully support her as she continues her important work on this committee for another five years, until February 26, 2030”, said Prof Pamela Dube, Vice-Chancellor and Principal.
Dr. Makhetha’s position is crucial in fostering effective good governance and ensuring quality assurance in higher education, mainly through the institutional audits process. CUT is committed to ongoing dialogue and collaborations within the sector, as demonstrated by the recent visit of the Council on Higher Education to CUT, reinforcing the significance of these audits and collaborations.
