Deputy Secretary of State Richard R. Verma met with Serbian President Aleksandar Vu?i?, Foreign Minister Marko Djuric, and other senior Serbian officials today in Belgrade.  Deputy Secretary Verma emphasized the importance of the U.S.-Serbia relationship in securing peace and stability, including in Ukraine. They also discussed the growing U.S.-Serbia economic partnership, including in the energy, telecommunications and tech sectors, and U.S. support for Serbia’s progress on its path towards EU membership.
