(AGENPARL) – mar 03 dicembre 2024 Small Developer Incubator Pilot Program BackgroundThe City is partnering with PLACE Initiative (PLACE) and the Incremental Development Alliance (IncDev) to pilot a Small Developer Incubator Program. The goals of this program are to create a network of developers and contractors who are invested in the economic health of local Sacramento neighborhoods and build local capacity to develop smaller-scale housing solutions using missing middle housing concepts, design/zoning supports, and financing. The program will include several learning and networking opportunities of varying degrees of investment, including an evening lecture, one full day workshop, and one 4-week long boot camp.Registration is OPEN for the First Event:
Small Developer Incubator Program Kick-off and Free Introductory Lecture
Do you want to learn more about how you can become a small real estate developer for a project in your neighborhood? Are you an advocate or local leader looking to encourage better buildings in your community?
The City, in partnership with the Incremental Development Alliance (IncDev) and PLACE Initiative, is hosting a networking event followed by an information session to describe the pilot Small Developer Incubator Program and upcoming training opportunities. The purpose is to share what will be learned at future trainings, answer questions, and gauge interest. IncDev Faculty will introduce attendees to the core concepts of Incremental Development and enable networking between future cohort members and the development community at large.
Networking and refreshments will be available preceding the lecture which will take place from 7-8 PM. Attendance is free!
