Migration and asylum: MEPs to call for swift adoption of new legislation
*Starting at 9.00, plenary will assess with Commission Vice-President Schinas and Spanish deputy Minister for EU Affairs Navarro progress on the reform of the common EU asylum and migration systems. MEPs will debate the specific challenges faced by some member states and are expected to call for a speedy adoption of all the files included in the asylum and migration pact.

New EU standard to fight greenwashing in the bond markets
*At around 14.15, MEPs will review with Commissioner McGuinness draft legislation for a new voluntary “European Green Bond” label, to fight greenwashing in the bond markets and stimulate the issuing of sustainable investment products. The final vote on the bill will take place on Thursday.

Debate on the proposed extension of glyphosate authorisation
*Plenary will discuss a proposal to extend the authorisation of glyphosate in the EU for ten more years, with Commissioner Kyriakides and Spanish deputy Minister for EU Affairs Navarro, starting around 15.30. The current authorisation expires on 15 December 2023.

In brief*
Common EU rules on hand luggage. *At noon, plenary is set to adopt a resolution calling on the Commission to oblige airlines to apply the same rules and standards across the EU on the size and price of hand luggage.
Human Rights*. In the evening, MEPs will debate the human rights situation in Afghanistan, in particular the persecution of former government officials, the case of Zarema Musaeva in Chechnya, and the sentencing of Hisham Kassem in Egypt. Three resolutions will be put to a vote on Thursday.
Decent housing for all*. In this session’s topical debate, starting around 13.00, MEPs will consider with Commissioner Schmit how to ensure all European citizens have access to affordable and adequate housing.

Between 12.00 and 13.00, plenary will vote, among others, on:
