ITA AIRWAYS AT THE SECOND NEW YORK EDITION OF TRAVEL HASHTAG
New York/Rome, September 27, 2023 – Yesterday, ITA Airways, the Italian flagship carrier participated in the second New York edition of Travel Hashtag, the traveling networking-event format with focus on Italy and the promotion of Italian tourism in the North American market.
In its role as Official carrier of the initiative, ITA Airways was among the main partners of the event that took place at The Michelangelo Hotel in Manhattan and was entirely dedicated to the must-see places and trends in Italy to discover in 2024.
ITA Airways was proud to participate in the second New York edition of Travel Hashtag, an initiative that presents and promotes Italy, the uniqueness of Made in Italy and Italian excellence around the world to major industry players. The United States is the first international market for the Italian flagship airline, which is connecting with 122 weekly nonstop flights the hubs of New York, Boston, Miami, Los Angeles, Washington and San Francisco to Italy and aims to become the preferred carrier from the United States to Italy and via Rome to Europe and the Mediterranean. ITA Airways is committed to provide the best customer experience to travelers flying on its aircraft: from the moment they step on board they start to enjoy in advance of their arrival in Italy the full all-around Italian experience that they will discover upon landing.
A concept at the core of ITA Airways’ new marketing campaign called “A Sky Full of Italy”, which launched in the North American market yesterday in San Francisco and Los Angeles.
With the goal to become the preferred airline for travel to and from Italy, the new campaign shows how the things that people are searching for when they are thinking of Italy can be found already onboard and how ITA Airways is able to provide an amazing Italian customer experience.
Passengers can therefore find on board ITA Airway aircraft “the Italy they are searching for, before they even touch the ground”, whether that be food, style or design, as it is also expressed in the new payoff ‘A Sky Full of Italy’, also launched with this new campaign.
After its kickoff in San Francisco and Los Angeles, the campaign will debut on September 28 in Boston and Washington to continue starting October 5 in New York and Miami. It will be visible on the main streaming TV platforms and will be running on digital billboards in key areas in Boston, New York, Los Angeles, and Miami, on completely personalized buses in Los Angeles, San Francisco and Washington, on a digital double-sided boat in Miami and, through a significant digital and online presence in all cities.
