Meet the Speakers!
Ms. Orsi Bózsó, Head of Product | BMAT
Orsi is working on the direction and strategy of 3 core products in the Back Office portfolio.
She joined BMAT as a PM leading strategic software development projects for key music industry players. Over the past 5 years, she built extensive business domain knowledge of Copyrights – through direct engagement with Performing Right Organisations, Music Licensing Companies, and global policymakers like IFPI or CISAC. Advocate for customer-centric design and the thoughtful application of technological innovations.
The first product launched was SoundSys: a new shared system for the distribution of sound recording performance rights revenue around the world in collaboration with IFPI & now servicing over 9 MLCs globally.
Jaime Díaz Otero Núñez, Product Owner in the Back Office team | BMAT
Focusing his efforts on the SoundSys platform, he’s been in charge of system operations and improvement for the last 2 years, as well as business development. Working closely with the 9 societies that are using the system, Jaime has built a deep knowledge of MLC operations and the challenges they face in the neighboring rights space.
He is also a participant in several DDEX working groups to ensure BMAT’s products are aligned with the standards that make metadata flow across all systems, with the goal of a transparent, accurate distribution process for all the players involved.
Seah Nancy, Managing Director | Music Rights (Singapore) Public Limited
Nancy heads the Music Rights (Singapore) Public Limited (MRSS) and Recording Industry Association Singapore (RIAS) as their Managing Director. She directs a team of similar-minded persons with the conviction “to protect the music we love, and to enforce the copyrights of artistes and musicians”.
Nancy has over ten years of experience in Collective Management before Music Rights (Singapore) Public Limited (MRSS). She was the General Manager of Recording Industry Music Services Singapore Pte Ltd (RIMS) and InnoForm Entertainment Singapore.
In 2018, Nancy established Music Rights (Singapore) Public Limited (MRSS) with the integration of Recording Industry Performance Singapore Pte Ltd (RIPS) and Recording Industry Music Services Singapore Pte Ltd (RIMS).
