In the next few weeks, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and partners will launch the SOFI flagship report 2023, featuring the latest data on the number of people suffering from hunger in the world. FAO headquarters in Rome will also be the site of a high-level global event in the follow-up of the UN Food Systems Summit 2021.

•Launch of the State of Food Security and Nutrition (SOFI) 2023

FAO and its co-publishing partners will be launching the State of Food Security and Nutrition in the World (SOFI) report at a special event on the margins of the ECOSOC High-Level Political Forum (HLPF) in New York.
