(AGENPARL) – mar 18 aprile 2023 At a meeting of the WTO’s working group on food security held on 17 April, WTO members stressed the need to enhance agricultural production and productivity in least-developed countries (LDCs) and net food-importing developing countries (NFIDCs) to improve their resilience to the acute food security crisis. Members exchanged insights from the workshop on production resilience that took place on 12 April and continued their discussion on financing challenges. They also reviewed the most recent results from the needs assessment questionnaire.
