On 17 March, the world association of professional cyclists Cyclistes Professionnels Associés (CPA) will meet to elect its new president. We will find out who will succeed Gianni Bugno in Milan, on the eve of the Milano-Sanremo and two days before the Trofeo Binda, which will bring together the world’s best cyclists in Italy. Professional riders (i.e. members of WT teams and PCT teams for men or WWT teams for women) will be able to cast their vote both in person and, for the first time in the association’s history, remotely.
To have the right to vote, however, they must first register with the CPA at [www.cpacycling.com](https://giannibugno.us19.list-manage.com/track/click?u=0d1c28ea0f19abb3948f9b05b&id=fe43b7401f&e=b5d3fa173a) in the members’ section. Once they have taken this crucial step, they will be able to download the MyCPA app that will allow them, among other things, to vote electronically in the president elections and in all future CPA assemblies.
MyCPA offers many services but essentially allows for greater interaction between CPA and riders who will more easily receive important union communications, telegram links and polls of the races and information on CPA delegates.
Riders who wish to vote for the new CPA president will necessarily have to attend the assembly called on election day, ensuring, as mentioned above, that they have first registered with the CPA. If they wish to vote in person, they can do so by going to the place that will be indicated by the CPA one month before the elections, or they can attend the meeting and vote remotely using MyCPA.
Those who are already members of a national association part of the CPA can of course also vote through the president of their national association. In deed, the national associations will debate with their member riders regarding the election of the CPA president and decide internally which candidate to support as an association.
Register with the CPA provides riders with many advantages and at no cost. The first of all is to make their voice heard by the other stakeholders of the movement in the venues where the most important decisions for cyclists are taken.

Nous saurons qui succédera à Gianni Bugno à Milan, à la veille du Milano-Sanremo et deux jours avant le Trofeo Binda, qui réunira les meilleurs cyclistes du monde en Italie. Les coureurs professionnels (c’est-à-dire les membres des équipes WT et PCT pour les hommes ou WWT pour les femmes) pourront voter en personne et, pour la première fois dans l’histoire de l’association, à distance.
Toutefois, pour avoir le droit de vote, ils devront d’abord s’inscrire au CPA à l’adresse [www.cpacycling.com](https://giannibugno.us19.list-manage.com/track/click?u=0d1c28ea0f19abb3948f9b05b&id=7d76c7798d&e=b5d3fa173a) dans la section réservée aux membres. Une fois cette étape cruciale franchie, ils pourront télécharger l’application MyCPA qui leur permettra, entre autres, de voter électroniquement aux élections du président et à toutes les futures assemblées du CPA.
MyCPA offre de nombreux services mais permet essentiellement une plus grande interaction entre le CPA et les coureurs qui recevront plus facilement les communications importantes du syndicat, les liens Telegram et les sondages des courses et les informations sur les délégués du CPA.
Les coureurs qui souhaitent voter pour le nouveau président du CPA devront nécessairement assister à l’assemblée convoquée le jour de l’élection, en s’assurant, comme mentionné ci-dessus, qu’ils soient d’abord inscrits auprès du CPA. S’ils souhaitent voter en personne, ils pourront le faire en se rendant au lieu qui sera indiqué par le CPA un mois avant les élections, ou ils pourront assister à l’assemblée et voter à distance en utilisant MyCPA.
Ceux qui sont déjà membres d’une association nationale faisant partie du CPA pourront bien sûr également voter par l’intermédiaire du président de leur association. En effet, les associations nationales débattront avec leurs coureurs membres de l’élection du président du CPA et décideront en interne du candidat à soutenir en tant qu’association.
S’enregistrer auprés du CPA offre aux coureurs de nombreux avantages et surtout, gratuitement. Le premier est de faire entendre leur voix auprès des autres acteurs du mouvement, dans les sièges où les décisions les plus importantes pour les cyclistes sont prises.

In data 17 marzo l’associazione mondiale dei corridori Cyclistes Professionnels Associés (CPA) si riunirà per eleggere il suo nuovo presidente. Scopriremo il successore di Gianni Bugno a Milano, alla vigilia della Milano-Sanremo e due giorni prima del Trofeo Binda, che radunerà in Italia i migliori ciclisti e cicliste del mondo. I corridori professionisti (ovvero facenti parte di squadre WT e PCT per gli uomini o di squadre WWT per le donne) potranno esprimere il proprio voto sia in presenza che, per la prima volta nella storia dell’associazione, da remoto.
Per godere del diritto di voto dovranno però prima iscriversi al CPA sul sito [www.cpacycling.com](https://giannibugno.us19.list-manage.com/track/click?u=0d1c28ea0f19abb3948f9b05b&id=4bf7c4b707&e=b5d3fa173a) nella sezione dedicata ai membri. Una volta effettuato questo passo fondamentale, potranno scaricare l’app MyCPA che consentirà loro, tra le altre cose, di votare elettronicamente alle elezioni del presidente e in tutte le future assemblee del CPA.
MyCPA offre numerosi servizi ma essenzialmente permette una maggiore interazione tra CPA e corridori che riceveranno più facilmente le comunicazioni importanti del sindacato, i link telegram e i sondaggi sulle corse, le informazioni sui delegati del CPA.
I corridori che vorranno votare per il nuovo presidente del CPA dovranno necessariamente partecipare all’assemblea indetta nel giorno delle elezioni assicurandosi, come già detto, di essersi prima iscritti al CPA. Se vorranno votare in presenza potranno farlo recandosi di persona nel luogo che verrà indicato dal CPA un mese prima delle elezioni oppure potranno partecipare alla riunione e votare da remoto servendosi di MyCPA.
Coloro che già fanno parte di un’associazione nazionale aderente al CPA potranno votare ovviamente anche tramite il proprio presidente di associazione. In effetti, le associazioni nazionali discuteranno con i loro membri in merito all’elezione del presidente della CPA e decideranno internamente quale candidato sostenere come associazione.
Iscriversi al CPA garantisce ai corridori molti vantaggi e senza alcun costo. Il primo fra tutti è far sentire la propria voce agli altri stakeholders del movimento nelle sedi in cui si prendono le decisioni più importanti per i corridori.
