Parliament’s priorities for December European Council
In a debate at 9.00, MEPs will discuss with President von der Leyen and Czech Minister for European Affairs Bek their demands and expectations for the 15 December EU summit. The leaders’ agenda includes the latest developments in Russia’s war against Ukraine and the EU’s support to Ukraine, as well as the response to the energy crisis, security and defence issues and external relations.

The EU’s response to distortive US tax breaks
Around 10.30, plenary will ask Commission Vice-President Vestager and Czech Minister Bek about the measures the EU could take to tackle the massive tax breaks to companies producing in the US, a scheme that puts European industry at a disadvantage.
