War in Ukraine: socio-economic impact, windfall tax, migration flows and Russia as a sponsor of terrorism
In a debate with Commission Vice-President Dombrovskis, Commissioner Gentiloni and Czech Deputy Prime Minister Bartoš at 9.00, MEPs will discuss how to cushion EU households and businesses from the impact of the war, including the possibility of introducing a tax on huge corporate profits. Later in the day, they will assess with Commissioner Johansson and Deputy Prime Minister Bartoš the impact of the conflict on migration flows to the EU. Finally, in the evening, plenary will discuss whether Russia should be recognised as a state sponsor of terrorism. A resolution on this topic will be put to the vote during the 21-24 November plenary.

Parliament to push for more commitments ahead of COP27
MEPs are expected to urge for more ambitious climate targets before the COP27 in Egypt on 6-18 November, to limit global warming in line with the Paris agreement, in an afternoon debate with the Commission. They will vote on a resolution on Thursday.

Protection of the EU’s critical infrastructure: question time with the Commissioner Schinas
In the context of an increasingly tense geopolitical situation, Parliament will ask Commission Vice-President Schinas for details on more robust protection for EU infrastructure. The question time is set to begin around 15.45 and last for 90 minutes.
