Deputy Head of Mission at the British Embassy, Skopje
Currently Chargé d’affaires leading the British Embassy work in Skopje North Macedonia
Prior to this posting Julia worked as Deputy Head of Mission at the British Embassy, Vilnius.
She have worked on a variety of roles in London a variety of roles including leading on Women, Peace and Security issues and on the policy of the Protection of Civilians in Peacekeeping missions; She led on security for the state visit of China and the Prime Minister of India.
She worked briefly in Skopje in 2016 as the Political Officer in the Western Balkans dealing with the migration routes that led to an International Crisis.
She served in Shanghai working as Deputy Director Healthcare, Life Sciences & Social Care, Shanghai (2015) with an aim of boosting UK/China trade relations and reducing trade barriers.
