MONROE, La. – ULM head baseball coach Michael Federico released the team’s 2021 schedule Friday morning. The schedule features seven home weekend series, three home midweek contests and road trips to Ole Miss, LSU and TCU.

“Scheduling has been a challenge with all the changes in each league,” Federico said. “We may have more changes to come but we are working extremely hard to have our team ready to compete against whomever we play. We have an extremely good schedule with numerous quality opponents.”
The Warhawks open at home for the third time in the last four seasons as they entertain SIUE at Warhawk Field for a three-game series starting on Feb. 19. ULM opened the 2019 home schedule against the Cougars, taking three out of four games in the series.
ULM then faces in-state foe Northwestern State in the only scheduled meeting between the two teams on Feb. 23 before traveling to New Orleans for a series on Feb. 26. It marks the first meetings with the Privateers since 2011.
The Warhawks return home the following weekend to host Nicholls State in a three-game set starting on March 5. It is the first weekend series between ULM and the Colonels since Nicholls visited Warhawk Field in 2012.
ULM hosts Louisiana Tech for the first of two meetings on March 9 before traveling to Oxford, Mississippi to take on Ole Miss for a weekend series starting on March 12. The Warhawks and Rebels ended their COVID-19 shortened 2020 seasons against each other at Warhawk Field, with the then-No. 5 Rebels winning both contests in a midweek series.
The Sun Belt Conference schedule begins March 19 when Georgia State comes to Warhawk Field for a series. After a trip to Ruston to face LA Tech on March 23, the Warhawks play their first road SBC series of the season at Texas State starting on March 26.
ULM comes back to Warhawk Field to entertain the in-state rival Ragin’ Cajuns on Easter weekend, starting on Thursday, April 1.
The Warhawks are set to go on a five-game, six-day road trip beginning with a two-game midweek set at Alabama on April 6 and 7 before continuing to Georgia Southern for a series starting on April 9.
ULM then plays seven of the next eight games at Warhawk Field as they begin a home-and-home midweek series against Jackson State on April 13. Little Rock visits Monroe starting on April 16.
The Warhawks take a break from the homestand with a trip to Baton Rouge to face LSU on April 20 before hosting Southern in a nonconference series beginning April 23.
ULM is set to head to the mountains to face Appalachian State for an SBC series beginning April 30 before visiting Jackson State to close out the midweek schedule on May 5. The Warhawks then meet UT Arlington to close the home schedule starting on May 7.
ULM plays its final nonconference series at TCU beginning May 14. The Warhawks close the regular season and SBC schedule the next week at Arkansas State.
The Sun Belt Conference Championship is scheduled for May 25-30 at Riverwalk Stadium in Montgomery, Alabama.
