(AGENPARL) – mer 15 maggio 2019 It’s been a busy month, and we are thrilled to share some exciting news which has been over a year in the making. We’re now bringing the resources, knowledge and inspiration of the Business & IP Centre to the heart of 10 London boroughs through a brand new project: Start-ups in London Libraries.

By partnering with over 60 local libraries, Start-ups in London Libraries is designed to help aspiring entrepreneurs across the capital. Visit us to take advantage of free quarterly workshops and resources, as well as one-to-one business information sessions with borough SME Champions. Keep on reading to find out more.

But that’s not all. We recently launched another addition to the National Network, and the first one outside of England – Business & IP Centre Glasgow at the Mitchell Library. This is the result of a fantastic collaboration between the British Library, Glasgow Life, the National Library of Scotland and Santander.

So whether you’re based in London, Glasgow or elsewhere in the UK, we are here to help you start or grow your business!

Our current exhibition at the British Library is Writing: Making Your Mark, open until Tuesday 27 August. It follows the evolution of writing, from ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs carved in stone to the art of note-taking by some of history’s greatest minds, and onwards to the digital communication tools we use today. Start-ups in London Libraries

This new project will see us appearing in a borough near you, designed to help aspiring entrepreneurs turn their business idea into a reality. Through our network of 10 London borough libraries, we will deliver grass roots support on your doorstep. Whether you have always wanted to start a business, or have just taken your first steps into entrepreneurship, we will give you the skills, information and know-how you need to build a viable business.

National Network

Not based in London? Our National Network provides entrepreneurs and SMEs across the UK with free access to databases, market research, journals, directories and reports. We have three new pilot Centres in Cambridgeshire & Peterborough, Glasgow and Nottingham.
