(AGENPARL) – BRITISH COLUMBIA (CANADA), gio 26 novembre 2020 Two applicants made separate requests to the Ministry for access to information relating to human remains discovered in Lheidli T’enneh Memorial Park in Prince George. The Ministry refused to disclose the responsive information in its entirety under ss. 16 (disclosure harmful to intergovernmental relations or negotiations) and 18 (disclosure harmful to the conservation of heritage sites, etc.) of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA), and s. 3(3) of the Heritage Conservation Act. The adjudicator determined that the Ministry was authorized to refuse to disclose the disputed information under s. 16(1)(a)(iii) of FIPPA and that it was not necessary to consider the other provisions relied upon by the Ministry.
